Principal Investigator

Dr Labidi-Galy obtained a MD from the University of Tunis and trained as a medical oncologist between Tunisia and France before pursing with a PhD in onco-immunology at University of Lyon and a fellowship in oncology at Centre Leon Berard (Lyon, France). In 2011, she earned the Fullbright Arthur Sachs/Harvard scholarship and moved to Boston for a post-doctoral fellowship at Dana Farber Cancer Institute of Harvard University. She worked on pathogenesis of high-grade serous ovarian carcinoma. End of 2014, she was appointed as junior investigator at the Faculty of Medicine of Geneva. She received in 2017 the SNSF Ambizione grant and started her own research group in the fall of 2017. She is lecturer (Privat docent) since 2020 and has been nominated as Assistant Professor at University of Geneva in 2023.
